Tollywood is lagging behind in getting a real success

In Tollywood these days the movies are not trying to show anything new and variety. Especially, the movies which come recently are very somber and monotonous. The directors and heroes of Telugu industry would like to travel in the same way i.e. love and faction with one or two item numbers of Momyth Khan. After the biggest hit of Mahesh’s Pokiri, we can see the same formula in his latest movie Athidi. Tulasi of Venki is also the same boredom movie with a lot of violence. As long as there is no place for experiments in the Tollywood, we cannot expect great hits like Pokiri in Telugu industry. Fortunately, a few directors like Shekar Kammula and Chandrashekar Yeleti are putting their sincere efforts to show variety in the treatment of story to some extent, the best example for this is Shekar’s latest movie Happy Days, which is greatly commended by one and all.
